My journey as a registered nurse began in Fiji in 2008 and continued in Australia from 2018. While working in the Emergency Department, I became acutely aware of systemic shortcomings in disability support, where care often failed to embody compassion, cultural competence, or a person-centered ethos. These experiences deeply moved me and reinforced my commitment to driving meaningful change in how we support individuals with disabilities. This inspired me to establish AAVG Care & Support with a clear vision: to create a service that empowers individuals to live with dignity, choice, and independence. Today, I’m proud to see that vision thriving through our dedicated team and the incredible participants we have the privilege to support.
Founded in 2022, AAVG Care & Support was built on a deep commitment to person-centered care and community empowerment. The organisation was established by Arti Ashwini Padiyachi, a registered nurse with a master’s degree in nursing, who witnessed firsthand the gaps in disability support while working across clinical and community settings.
Driven by her vision to uplift lives, Arti set out to create a service that not only met the needs of NDIS participants but also enhanced their well-being through compassionate, professional, and culturally responsive care.
What began as a small team of dedicated careers has grown into a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. Today, AAVG Care & Support proudly delivers a broad spectrum of NDIS services, including support coordination, personal care, and community engagement program, empowering individuals to live with dignity, independence, and choice.
We collaborate closely with allied health professionals to implement targeted interventions that drive measurable improvements in individual outcomes and promote holistic well-being.
